Cloquet Home Center

From 1980-1995 the Cloquet Home Center was Billmans Home Center. In 1995 Tom Wallin and Bob Goewey purchased the Home Center from Billmans, and re-named it the Cloquet Home Center. Until recently the center had operated out of its downtown Cloquet location at 1100 Industry Avenue. On March 30th of 2007 at approximately 4 p.m. an extensive fire destroyed the buildings and contents of the Home Center, but not the spirit or the determination of the owners or the employees. Soon after the fire the Home Centerre-grouped and continued to do business at the original location, working out of construction and job trailers as best they could. At the same time the construction of the new Home Center was underway at their new site located in the North end of town just off of Hwy 33 at 500 Commerce Way. In January of 2008 the Cloquet Home Center opened in its new spacious showroom and drive through warehouse. The locally owned Home Center is determined to continue servicing its community and surrounding areas as we have since 1995.
